GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OHIO - Here is an up-date about Sargent Blake Poe from his father, Jim Poe. Sgt.
Poe's and his unit are rotating out of Iraq.
"Not much to report....We are receiving little contact from Blake. Reason........SECURITY...they are getting ready for the elections and are in convoy quite a bit of the time taking equipment to Kuwait and bringing their replacement's equipment North. He did say that there is a huge relief when they cross the border into Kuwait.....first...they drop their clip.....second..... they remove the round from the chamber.....referring of course to their weapons. As we can see on the news nightly, convoys are frequently a target .........so we're hoping everyone is still keeping the troops in their thoughts and prayers.........hopefully the 1st ID (Infantry Division) will be relieved sometime in February."
