LOVELAND, OHIO - The students at Children's Meeting House Montessori School have an exciting new after school activity: soccer. The program, which began this fall, is open to both boys and girls and focuses on improving coordination, team work, and good sportsmanship. The children meet once a week and work on dribbling the ball, passing to others, scoring, and the basic rules of soccer. "We've seen a real difference in the confidence and coordination in nearly all the kids. The group as a whole now exhibits increased skill in ball handling and they are having a great time." said Cam Eicher, program coordinator. The program also provides a healthy snack of fruit, pretzels, or crackers, which is several children's favorite part of the program.
