SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OHIO – Loveland beat Glen Este for the second time this season on January 23, 64 – 56. The Tigers are now #5 in the Enquirer's Coaches Poll and face Anderson (4-2, 8-2) at home on Friday. Anderson is second behind Buckeye Division leader Loveland, and #13 in the poll.
Against Glen Este, Bobby Capobianco led all scorers with 28 points and also led all with 11 rebounds. He blocked 2 and had 3 steals. Brian Wozniak scored 9, Adam Engel 7, Ryan Cobb 6, Chris Stahl 4. Tony Hamman came off the bench to score 8. Wesley Kyles scored 2. Engel, Stahl, and Wozniak, each sank a 3-pointer.
A player to watch for Anderson is Ethan Lundy who leads the league, shooting 64.6 per-cent from the field. Jason Bruner leads the league in steals. Mike Wilkison averages 17.2 and shoots 50 per-cent from 3-point range. Andrew Norwell averages 9.8 points and 8.1 rebounds. John Runk averages 9.3 and 5 rebounds.
Game times Friday are 4:30 PM for the Freshman, 6 PM for the JV, and tip-off for the 11 game streaking Varsity is 7:30 PM. The Athletic Boosters are also inducting past Loveland High School Athletes into their Hall of Fame.
