LOVELAND, OHIO - Grailville Retreat and Program Center will offer The Practice of Poetry: A Writing Workshop for women interested in writing as a Spiritual and Creative Practice. Bi-weekly workshops will be held Tuesday evenings, March 10 – May 5 from 7 - 9 PM. Optional craft workshops are also available on alternate Tuesdays, 7-8:30 PM. This series will provide opportunities for using creative writing as a tool to “listen deeply to your own heart’s wisdom.” Bi-weekly sessions provide opportunities for writing and sharing with other women as well as guidance in the art and craft of poetry. The optional Poetry Craft Sessions are opportunities to give and receive constructive feedback on poems.
Led by Grailville co-director and poet Pauletta Hansel, the author of two collections of poetry, Divining (WovenWord Press) and First Person (Dos Madres Press).
The Writing Workshop are at Grailville, 932 O’Bannonville Road, Loveland OH. Tuition is $110 for the five-session series. The optional craft workshops begin March 17.
