LEBANON, OHIO – Warren County United Way has announced that as of February 16, 2009, their 2008 Fall Fundraising Campaign has yielded $2,126,039 in pledges, which is 97.75% of their goal of 2,175,000. To date, they are short $48,961.
The agency was able to continue its funding to all 29 partner agencies.
“A slowing economy and tighter budgets kept some donor and companies from contributing this year”, said Diana Campbell, Campaign Director, “but to our surprise, many other donors increased their pledges and new donors emerged.” Campbell also said, “The Warren County United Way and our partner agencies continue to be grateful to those who consistently pledge and those who pledged for the first time.”
“Our campaign co-chairs, Dawn Partin, SUMCO USA and Christine Breitenbach, Sibcy Cline Realtor, have done an exceptional job of managing this campaign and educating colleagues about the great work accomplished by the Warren County United Way and its 29 partner agencies”, said Sandy Briggs, Communications Director.
