SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OHIO - Olympic Gold Medalist, Misty May-Treanor conducted a Volleyball clinic on January 9 at the Grand Sands Indoor Volleyball facility on Loveland Madeira Road in Symmes Township. In this video, she comments on the new facility, and her Loveland, Ohio friend, Amber Peters, who attended the clinic.
Peters, who plays for her Loveland High School team, was seriously injured in an automobile accident in 2005. She says that she doesn’t know how her recovery would have been possible, without the inspiration and friendship of May-Treanor.
May-Treanor and teammate Kerri Walsh, won back-to-back Gold Medals in beach volleyball in 2004 and 2008. The Beijing Summer Olympic win marked their 108th straight match win.

The pair have made appearances in the American Volleyball Professional tournament held at Mason, Ohio. Kerri Walsh is now an expectant mom, however in the interview, May-Treanor she said she intends to play in Mason this summer with her new partner.
