Remember, your vote is your lever
Dear Loveland Magazine Readers,
I grew up in Loveland. I was a member of the “the class of 65” at Loveland High School. I now live in the Atlanta area. I can’t believe that council is pulling a “Big Brother” scenario on it’s citizens. (Tom Carroll to Loveland Heights: “Sorry You’re the Guinea Pigs”)
Making statements to the effect that people don’t know what’s good for them smacks of Communism. (try reading “Animal Farm” if you haven’t yet.) I suggest the citizens of Loveland vote the them out in the next election.
Here in our subdivision we had an issue arise where the local commission was going to rezone an area of entry into our neighborhood to allow multiple family dwellings. We showed up at the meeting en masse’ and got their attention. If you let them know you are a “voting block”, they will pay more attention than if you appear to be individuals.Good luck, and remember your vote is your lever.
