Charles Schebor of Loveland came home with a a silver medal in the Heavy Equipment event from the SkillsUSA competition after testing his skills against other top students in Ohio.
Schebor is a student in the Heavy Equipment program at Live Oaks Career Campus. Shebor will graduate from Loveland High School in June.
More than 300,000 students and advisors join SkillsUSA annually, organized into more than 17,000 sections and 54 state and territorial associations.
SkillsUSA's mission is to "Help its members become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens."
Schebor has enlisted in the U.S. Marines and will report for basic training this summer.
