Loveland, Ohio - Fourth of July in Loveland will begin with a parade at 7 PM that begins at the Loveland Elementary School and will travel north on Loveland Madeira Road and then east on West Loveland Avenue to Karl Brown Way in Historic Downtown.

For the second year the Fourth of July Committee has partnered with McIntire Photography for the Lil’ Miss Sparkler and Lil’ Mr. Firecracker Contest for the parade. The contest is open to boys and girls ages 4-6. Contestants must be able to participate in the parade. Friends, family, and members of the community can go online from June 25-29 to cast their vote for the 2012 Lil’ Miss Sparkler and Lil’ Mr. Firecracker. Winners will receive a $50 savings bond from McIntire Photography and will be in Loveland’s parade.
The parade will also feature a design contest for patriotic bikes, strollers, and wagons. Individuals and families can register their children for this contest ahead of time at Montgomery Cyclery, 116 Karl Brown Way. Registration is necessary so that each participant can have a number for identification when the judges distribute medallions for the most creative designs.
Following the parade, the band Boo Radley will perform at the Amphitheater in Nisbet Park
from 8 until 10 PM. The park will also host activities such as face-painting,
custom balloon designing, and more.
