The Booster previously funded the artificial turf field at Tiger Stadium at a cost $550,000.
The center will be constructed on the north end of the high school, a 6,500 square foot facility. It is estimated, over 700 athletes use the current weight room facility which was built over 12 years ago and is less then 2,500 sq. feet. The facility will be used by all girl and boys athletic teams and school day fitness classes
The boosters will be making more announcements in coming days, letting the community know about special fund raising events and opportunities to contribute.
