Team 4530 and local resident Alex Bunk, entering his Sophomore year at Loveland High School recently received a Commendation from the Ohio Senate for winning the First Tech Robotics Challenge Ohio State Tournament.
The commendation says that team members are, "...remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students." The award goes on to say that the students are a justifiable source of pride for their families, coaches, and schools.
The commendation is signed by Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus.
The team finish 7th out of 128 teams in the World Robotics Championship that was held in St. Louis, in only their second year as a team.
