Sunday July 29 marks the end of the regular season and the start of Championship Week for the 7th season of the Loveland Summer Box Lacrosse League, the largest boys summer box lacrosse league in the Midwest.
Over 225 youth through high school boys lacrosse players make up 16 teams across 4 divisions in the state's premier summer box lacrosse league. Stretching from Northern Kentucky to Cincinnati to Dayton, top players from across the region compete this week to determine the 2012 summer league champions at the Loveland Outdoor Box Lacrosse Arena in Symmes Township, the only outdoor box lacrosse facility outside the East Coast.
The Division III (3/4 grade) championship game kicks off the week on Sunday July 29 at 6:45 PM, with the Division II (5/6 grade) and Division I (Middle School) champs being decided Monday evening July 30 (see schedule) . The week wraps up on Wednesday at 8 PM with the league's spotlight game, the High School Boys Championship, kicking off at 8 PM and featuring many of the region's top college-bound rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade players.
