Granny's Garden School Class Garden Coordinators work with classroom teachers to lead garden activities and lessons for first through fourth grade.
This is a paid, seasonal, part-time position that works weekly from August to November and March to early June, as well as an additional week in each of January and February. Weekly work hours can be as few as 5 hours or as many as 8 hours depending on your availability and our schedule. We pay for class time only and not downtime between classes which can be 30 minutes or a couple of hours depending on the schedule, though we do try to schedule classes closely together when possible. After the weekly schedule is set at the start of school, it stays the same for the school year.
The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with children, is dependable, well-organized, enthusiastic,energetic, and likes working outdoors.
