Clermont Health District now Accepting Online Payments for BSA

The Basic System Assessment (BSA) program of the Clermont County General Health District is in place to make sure routine inspections of septic systems in Clermont County are conducted, and to make sure the septic systems are operating properly. 

The Clermont County General Health District is now offering online bill payment for BSA participants.  Homeowners can log in online at www.clermonthealthdistrict.org/BSA.aspx and pay their Basic System Assessment (BSA) fees; participants may also pay by phone using a credit card by calling 1-800-487-4567.  For years homeowners have asked about paying their BSA fees online and the Health District is excited to be able to offer this convenience to customers.

“Our hope is that we can make the payment process as seamless as possible.  Although many of our customers pay by mail we wanted to answer the increased demand for online services,” said Water and Waste Director Robert Wildey.

Because credit card companies charge service fees for the use of their cards there will be a sliding scale convenience fee based on the total amount of the transaction when you pay with a credit card.  At this time the Health District is only able to process credit card payments online or by phone.  All payments made at the office or by mail must be paid by cash or check.
