Human trafficking is grave violation of human rights, and a problem that is increasingly being brought to light in the news media and in public consciousness. It affects women, men, and children in every country on earth. While intensive raid-and-rescue operations often receive a high profile in coverage of human trafficking, there are a variety of approaches to tackling this problem. Loveland native Sarah McCormick will share her perspectives of working with trafficking victims in Cincinnati and volunteering in trafficking prevention in Thailand. Please come to join the dialogue about trafficking's root causes and related issues, the situation of trafficking in the Cincinnati area, and the concrete steps that we can all take to fight against trafficking.
