Dear President Barack Obama and Senator Sherrod Brown,
I wanted to thank you for standing up for middle class families and the American people by passing the Affordable Care Act. I, along with almost 13 million other Americans, received a rebate check from our health insurance company because of the Affordable Care Act. Your legislation put more than one billion dollars back in the pockets of hard working people, instead of the bank accounts of already overpaid insurance executives.
In 2014, the American people will benefit even more as additional measures go into effect. I look forward to more Americans being able to take advantage of affordable, preventative health services. I look forward to all citizens being able to get health insurance, regardless of pre-existing conditions. I look forward to dependent children being able to remain on their parents' insurance until age 26 with out fear of being kicked off once they turn 18.
