The Greater Milford Area Historical Society will unveil the contents of a time capsule from 1912, which was recovered earlier this summer from the cornerstone of Milford Main School. The public is invited to attend this historic event on October 4, at 7 p.m., in the Great Hall at Milford's First United Methodist Church, 541 Main Street.
In addition to the opening of the 100-year old time capsule, other historic school memorabilia will be on display. Residents are invited to share their memorabilia, artifacts, or pictures. Photos or other documents can be scanned at Promont's Library and may be displayed on a big screen during the meeting.
