St. Francis of Assisi is
well known for his love for all God’s creatures. His ‘feast day’, a day
that he is remembered, is October 4th. Therefore, in October, it is a
common practice for churches to hold a Blessing of the Animals. Epiphany United Methodist Church
will celebrate the Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 6th, at
10:30 a.m. Bring your pets of all kinds. Let us give thanks for our
pets who bring us such joy.
Should you need to sit during the service please bring a lawn chair. The service will be held in the circle driveway off the main doors. There will be snacks for everyone, even the pets.
