Olivia Henderson, a Loveland High School Freshman, has been selected as a Broadcom MASTERS
(Math, Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering Rising Stars)
National Finalist.
This is the culmination of her performance in achieving a Superior Rating at the local Science Fair (St. Columban), District Science Fair (UC) and State Science Fair (OSU) in May.
In order to qualify, she had to rate in the top 10% at the district and state levels and compete against 6000 students nation-wide, 300 of whom were selected as semi-finalists. She was then selected as one of 30 finalists who will travel on an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. and compete nationally for scholarships and awards. This is her second year as a national semi-finalist but her first time to compete as a national finalist.
