Oakhills Held to 22 Yards
Loveland, Ohio - Oakhills went home after gaining only 10 rushing and 12 air yards after visiting the defense stingy Loveland Tigers on Friday. Oakhills started the game #10 in the City. Loveland's record improves to 2-1. They host the Glen Este Trogans this week with a 1-2 record, in the first week of conference play in the newly formed Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
The gang tackling by the Tigers and constant harassment in the Oakhills backfield translates to 0.8 yards per pass attempt, and a 0.4 per rush.
Loveland's possession time was almost 34 minutes to Oakhills 12. The tigers totaled 317 yards, 234 on the ground and 83 in the air, but racked up 80 in penalties. Ryne Terry completed 9 of 18 attempts. Tanner Hawk caught 5 of Terry's passes. Grahm Peters rushed 31 times for 159 yards. Tyler Barger had 3 sacks; the Tigers has 6 team sacks.
Evan Burig kicked a 15-yard field goal and two extra points.
