The Loveland Volleyball team finished up another strong week in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
On Tuesday 9/18, the Lady Tigers hosted Turpin for another key conference match-up. The team prevailed in 3 straights games (25-21, 25-21, 25-23). The offense was led by Sidney Thomas, Lindsey Flaherty and Sarah Marlatt with a combined total of 27 kills. The defense was led by Kayla Senters with 23 digs.
On Thursday, the Lady Tigers faced another ECC opponent in Anderson. The team pulled together in a tough 4 game match to avenge an earlier ECC loss to Anderson (25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 27-25).
These two wins have placed the Lady Tigers at 5-2 in the ECC (8-3 overall) and currently in 1st place in the ECC ahead of Kings and Milford.
Over the weekend, Loveland participated in the Oak Hills Invitational. The Lady Tigers made it to the Championship Match, but came up short vs. the visiting Lexington Lafayette Generals.
On Tuesday 10/2 the Lady Tigers are back in ECC action and host Milford for the next ECC battle. This is also the Middle School Volleyball Night as the Varsity Team will recognize the next generation of Lady Tigers. Come out to support the team.
