SR 48 will be closed between Butterworth and Baxter at Loveland City Limits
A slide repair will require a five-day closure of State Route 48, just north of the Warren-Clermont county line next week. This is at the Loveland City Limits.
The closure will be in place from Monday, Sept. 24 to Friday, Sept. 28 between US 22 in Warren County and SR 28 in Clermont County.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
The official detour for northbound traffic is west on SR 28 to north on I-275 to east on US 22. The detour for southbound traffic is west on US 22 to south on I-275 to east on SR 450 to north on I-275 to east on SR 28. However, you can access local roads - SR 48 to Adams to Butterworth to get around the detour.
The southbound detour is extra long because of the impending southbound I-275 exit ramp closure at SR 28. Since these two projects will coincide and traffic will likely be heavier than normal, especially at rush hour, it may behoove you to consider other route options in advance.
