Music is a big part of the life of the 17-year old girl who is Hamilton County Job and Family Services’ Waiting Child for the month of September.
Ashli is an on-the-go young woman has a playbook full of activities - sports such as soccer, karate and volleyball keep her busy. It’s no surprise, with all of those extracurricular hobbies, that this sometimes quiet girl also enjoys downtime with movies such as “Troy,” or the latest episodes of “Hannah Montana.”
Music is an important part of Ashli’s personality. She loves watching “High School Musical,” playing “Rock Band” on the Wii, or just singing to her favorite rap, R&B or pop songs on the radio. She likes being the center of attention, and wants to capitalize on her talents by someday moving to Los Angeles and becoming an actress, singer or a dancer.
Ashli has a great smile, and she can’t wait to bestow it on loving and understanding parents. She would do well in an environment that is calm and nurturing, with strong role models. A smart girl who does well in school, Ashli would be an energetic and magnetic addition to any adoptive family.
