Hamilton County Program Ends October 31 for 2012 Season
Hamilton County residents interested in recycling their unwanted computer equipment and televisions have just a few more weeks to participate in the free collection event, organized by the Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District.
Hamilton County residents can drop-off their unwanted computer equipment/TVs Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CSI/Republic Transfer Station located at 10751 Evendale Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241 through October 31. The program will also be open on Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for special weekend collection.
The Computer and TV Recycling Drop-Off program will close for the season on October 31, 2012 and will re-open in the spring of 2013.
Residents must bring proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill in order to participate. This program prohibits the acceptance of computer equipment/TVs from businesses, churches, schools and non-profit organizations.
Acceptable Items Include: CPUs, hard drives, personal copiers, docking stations, monitors, scanners, printers, cellular telephones, televisions, hard drives, tape and disk drives, VCR and DVD players, VHS tapes, circuit boards, cables, main frames, servers, terminals, fax machines, PDAs, back up batteries, chips, keyboards, mice, modems, computer speakers, CD Rom drives and laptops.
