Four Seniors Named Commended Students in National Merit Scholarship Program

Mahbod Pourriahi, John Despotakis, Grant Portune, and Sara Boyle

Four Loveland High School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program:  Mahbod Pourriahi, John Despotakis, Grant Portune, and  Sara Boyle.

About 34,000 Commended  Students were recognized nationally for their exceptional academic promise.  Although they will not continue in the 2013 competition for scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of entrants and receive special acknowledgement.
