Loveland, Ohio - The Loveland Tigers stayed with Turpin until early in the second half, when the Spartans steadily pulled away with a 21-6 win. Turpin, now 9-0 is ranked #1 in Division II in Cincinnati in the Enquirer's Coach's poll, and #2 in Ohio in the Associated Press Poll.
Loveland's record falls to 2-3, 5-4, and fifth in the ECC. They travel to Milford (0-5, 1-8) this Friday for a 7:30 PM kickoff, the last regular season game.
Loveland dropped from 8 to 9 in the OHSAA weekly computer rankings. Teams in the first eight positions will play in the post season.
