This summer the high school show choir By Request was invited to participate in the 2012 World Choir Games hosted in Cincinnati. The invite was based on their 2012 competition season which included making finals at every contest, grand Champion at South Dearborn High School and ranked 39th in the country.
At the World Choir Games the group received a Silver Medal and fell just shy of a Gold Medal. They are qualified to participate in the next games which will take place in 2014 in Latvia, Russia.
Before the Homecoming game last Friday, each member of By Request received their individual silver medals from Superintendent John Marschhausen and Show Choir Director Shawn Miller.
