Mural Project Brightens Little Miami Media Center

The media center inside Little Miami Intermediate School (LMIS) just got a little more colorful thanks to the efforts of a handful of students from Lori Wahnbaeck's sixth grade art classes.

A select group of students have been working on painting a large mural on the windows of two offices within the media center. When the project is done, the painted window will provide privacy for the occupants of the offices while displaying Joan Miro-inspired artistic elements to students who visit the media center.

Counselor Dawn Gasper received a mini-grant from the LMIS PTO to purchase paint and supplies and students then got to work on the mural under Wahbaeck's supervision.
