Historic Black Church Should be Saved
To the readers of Loveland Magazine, citizens of Loveland, Ohio, and the dear members of the committee to save the Loveland Predestinarian Baptist Church.
My name is George Geder and I'm an evangelist for African Ancestored Genealogy and Family History. As such, when I become aware of events and activities that impact our communities, history and culture, I get concerned and involved. (Sankofa: Looking Back to Save Historic Loveland Church)
It is my understanding that the Loveland Predestinarian Baptist Church is a testament, landmark, and icon to the Loveland community and that city administrators are considering demolishing the 118 Year-old Historic Black Church.
I'm certain that local members of the Loveland community are protesting and fighting this consideration. Concerned peoples around the nation must raise their voices and lend support to the effort to preserve and restore the Loveland Predestinarian Baptist Church.
Please be cautioned; if the demolition of a treasured African American landmark can be considered in this community, it can be considered about historical African American landmarks in your community.
Don't let this happen without a fight! Give your support to preserve the Loveland Predestinarian Baptist Church.
Peace and Blessings, "Guided by the Ancestors"
George Geder
