Dear Faithful Readers and Friends,
I am writing to ask for your help.
Loveland Magazine continues to break news for our community, and the
other “main street” news outlets have become some of our most faithful
readers. Many of our stories are picked up by the other local press, and
over the years they have then gone national.
My ego always smiles when we get a story first because of being where
other outlets never go, or just because of some lucky, sometimes
persistent digging.
But, what does it mean to you? First and
foremost, if it hadn’t been for Loveland Magazine, it more often than
not means that you would have never been in the know at all if it wasn’t
for OUR persistent, tenacious, dogged digging.
We can brag that Loveland stories have gone regional or national after
the big guys first read about it in Loveland Magazine, but, again that
means nothing to you, except that they would have never reported these
things if not first making their discovery on Loveland Magazine.
The other guys simply do not care about you and our town the way we do.
USA Today, the Enquirer, the Loveland Herald, TV-12, and TV-5
recently found their news stories at Loveland Magazine. Our stories
often show up on CNN.com.
We have become a community place of sharing your news, and a place
where that news is discussed and debated. No other community the size of
Loveland in the tri-state has their own independent on-line news paper.
We have become your “Voice” - the community's Voice.
Ever since our inception eight years ago, we have been able to make
what I believe are positive change in all of your lives and in the
community life we all live. The news we share about your charity events,
your religious news, your school news, our bragging about the fantastic
things you and your children are doing have a direct benefit to each of
you and to all of us as a community.
There is so much more we want to accomplish in 2013,
however, today's tough economic conditions make it difficult for
Loveland Magazine to meet those needs and to grow - without help from
people like you.
I would be ever so grateful if you would donate an amount between $5 -
$50 addressed to Loveland Magazine, 529 Main Street, Loveland, Ohio
45140. Or, use your credit card or PayPal .
Do you have time today to write a check or spend the few moments it takes to use the on-line form?
Contributions to Loveland Magazine are not tax-deductible. Please know
however that all contributions you make will positively impact our
community. None of your contribution will pay a salary, they will only
be used to pay the bills for tech upgrades, monthly subscriptions fees
for "cloud" services we must use, rent, and the like.
If you have any more questions regarding our work and goals or you wish to seek any query, please feel free to contact me at lovelandmagazine@cinci.rr.com. You can reach out to me, on all working days, between 9 AM to 9 PM, on the number 513-305-6071
