Loveland Police has received information from Miami Township Police detectives that a theft suspect may be operating in the Loveland area. According to the police, this suspect may have been working in the White Pillars subdivision. The female goes door to door offering babysitting services. She explains that she is a student at the University of Kentucky who is home for the summer. Once inside a residence she steals any valuables that she can find. In one of the offenses the total taken was $20,000. There have also been offenses in Indian Hill.
Police Chief Tim Sabransky asks, "Please notify Loveland Police immediately if something like this occurs in your neighborhood."
Tips:
- Do not let strangers into your home.
- Talk to them from the doorway or if you are completely unsure of them, speak through the door or don’t answer the door.
- If you become suspicious at any point, call the police. Please be prepared to give the dispatcher a description of the person and any vehicle he/she may be driving.
