The Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation celebrates and honors all Loveland moms by awarding "I ♥ My Loveland Mom" academic scholarships to LHS seniors. Additionally, it provides grants to infertile families to reduce the cost of fertility treatments.

awarding academic scholarships to Loveland High School seniors.

The Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation was founded to honor the memory of Pam, who fought gallantly against ovarian and breast cancer and never let her diagnosis define her life. Established in 2012 by her family, the foundation strives to perpetuate Pam’s lifelong example of compassionate giving and her adoration for the Loveland community.

General Information
The
Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation “I Love My Loveland Mom” academic
scholarships are non-renewable. The quantity of scholarships and monies
awarded depends on the success of the Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation
fundraising activities. The academic scholarships will be paid directly
to the school of the recipient’s choice upon confirmation that the
recipient has enrolled. The scholarship may be used to cover
the cost of tuition, books and other related course work fees.
Recipient selection is based on the compelling nature of applicant’s
essays.
Deadline for applicants to submit their essay is Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Please turn your essay into the Loveland High School guidance counselor office.
Selection Criteria:
Essay – Applicants must write a two to five page essay expounding the reasons why they love and appreciate their Mom. It is as simple as that…tell us why YOUR mom rocks! It is acceptable if the applicant, out of need or preference, wishes to use a different family member as the subject of their essay. Please include a title page with the following information: Your full name, address, phone number, personal email & your Moms full name, phone number & email (if available).
Requirements:
1) Applicant is a graduating senior attending Loveland High school in Loveland, Ohio.
2) Applicant has a grade point average of 2.5 or above.
3) Applicant is enrolled or plans to enroll at an accredited four year college/university, junior college or vocational/trade school.
4) Applicant is a legal, permanent resident of the Unites States.
The Pamela Joy Ripp foundation also provides "Ripp Sister" grants to infertile families to help reduce the cost of infertility treatment. Eligible applicants are pursuing egg donation or surrogacy from a family member.
