Loveland, Ohio - On January 17 as part of their Comunity Concerts Series, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) traveled to Loveland High School to mentor and perform along with students in the high school strings program.
The opening work featured the Loveland High School Orchestra and the CSO playing St. Paul’s Suite for String Orchestra Finale (The Dargason) composed by Gustav Holst. William White, the Symphony's assistant conductor led the combined orchestras. After intermission the CSO played Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 73 composed by Johannes Brahms.
