Loveland High's Danny Rosenbaum scheduled to throw against Reds on Friday

Tom King said, "I carry a great amount of pride for one Loveland 'kid' - my son-in-law Danny Rosenbaum." King said his daughter, Loveland High School graduate,  Alexis King and Rosenbaum were married last November.

Rosenbaum, a Loveland standout baseball player, is a pitcher for the Colorado Rockies and will pitch against the Reds this Friday. Tom King said, "I just wanted to put it out there for the Lovelander's that a kid from Loveland, with a dream to play major league baseball, is in the works."

Rosenbaum played college ball at Xavier. Rosenbaum leads the Rockies pitching staff with two spring wins.

In 2005, Rosenbaum, as a Loveland Tiger, was named a FAVC All Conference First Team Player of the Year.
