Fox Sports Ohio is replaying the HD broadcast today (Saturday) at 3 PM (Channels 43 and 1309 on Time Warner Cable).
In this photo, Loveland High School freshman, Luke Waddell heads to the sideline celebrating the 3rd quarter 65 yard touchdown run by teammate Nate Slagel that took the Tigers up 30-14 heading to the 44-14 win at Glen Este on Thursday night. Waddell himself scored on runs of 14 and 53 yards and had 153 total yards in the game. He also received a 11 yard pass. The game was on statewide, Fox Sports Ohio television.
Junior, Nate Slagell ran for 225 yards, scoring on 65 and 55 yard romps. Loveland had 419 total yards, 395 from their running game.
Loveland trailed 9-14, when Tre Heath returned the second half kickoff for 80 yards, starting a run of 35 unanswered points. Evan Burig was again perfect in the extra point department, adding 6 to his season total of 22. The long footed Max Mathers only gave Glen Este one dare to run a kickoff back (13 yards).
Kings comes to Tiger Stadium this Friday. They are 3-1, with wins over Piqua and Hamilton, and they beat Turpin 12-9 last night in their ECC Conference opener. Kings lost 17-20 to Lebanon to open their season. Game time is 7:30 PM.
By all standards of fans traveling to away high school football games, the Loveland community is really supporting the 2013 Tigers. One third of the Trojan seats were orange Thursday night. A good showing for a mid week game with school and work the following morning.
It will be for Military Appreciation Night at Friday's game.
