Loveland, Oh. - Loveland High School Senior Camden Baucke (#56) was surprised when his brother came to the football game last Friday. Because of his military career, Lt. Cooper Baucke has never had the opportunity to see his brother play high school football. Lt. Baucke was an honorary captain, gave the Tiger team their pre-game pep-talk, was on the field for the coin toss, and led the team onto the field for the pre-game salute to the military, carrying the American flag.
Cooper Baucke is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. It was Military Appreciation Night at the game between Loveland and Kings High School. (Watch the Loveland Magazine video of the ceromonies, and Baucke leading the team onto the field)
The Baucke clan feels VERY loved this weekend - especially calling out Jeff Williams and Coach Cranford and all the people who let Camden Lake Baucke, as he called it himself "have a dream come true!". I will NEVER forget the look when Camden passed me on the field heading to the coin toss!!! Thanks to everybody who helped and took great photos (Sue), you guys make Loveland awesome! I'm adding a video of them running out together - ENJOY! (Cooper almost faceplanted cause his army training told him to duck when he heard the first explosion!)
