Loveland, Oh. - The City of Loveland plans to submit a grant application to Ohio Department of Natural Resources to help fund improvements to the East Loveland Nature Preserve.
A new trail spur connecting the existing trails within the East Loveland Nature Preserve to the parking lot at 227 East Loveland Avenue is proposed. The project will include a pedestrian bridge over Bares Run creek along a section of the new trail.

The estimated construction cost for the project is $100,000. If grant funding is approved by ODNR, construction may start as early as the fall of 2014. The public is encouraged to submit input to Cindy Klopfenstein, City Engineer and Floodplain Administrator, at [email protected] on or before January 19, 2014.
