Loveland, Oh. - Taxpayers who have not been able to file 2013 returns using the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) website to acquire forms or electronically file returns have been given until Monday, April 21 to file their city income taxes. Reports from around Ohio indicate that RITA's servers and telephone operators have not been able to meet the demand for services.
A statement issued by the city today says, "For those who have been unable to connect with the Agency, tax filings postmarked or electronically transmitted by Monday, April 21, by 12:00 midnight will not be assessed penalty or interest for late filing."
Finance director, Tom Vanderhorst said that taxpayers with questions can call him at 707-1499.
