LMS teacher one of two from Ohio selected by the National Association of Special Education Teachers
Loveland, Ohio - Loveland City School District's Middle School (LMS) Special Education Teacher Carol Huxhold who was recently awarded Outstanding Special Education Teacher by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET). Huxhold received the honor for demonstrating outstanding achievement as a teacher in the field of special education.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized with the NASET Outstanding Special Education Teacher Award,” said Huxhold. “The work we do in Special Education is truly a team effort. The support from the entire Loveland Community is invaluable. From the positive administration, to professional, compassionate colleagues, responsive parents, humble, caring, kind high school students, and the awesome students we serve – all deserve to share the recognition that comes with this award.”
“We are fortunate to have Mrs. Huxhold as a teacher at LMS,” said Chris Burke, LMS principal. “We appreciate all Mrs. Huxhold does for the students in our district, and we congratulate her on this achievement.”
Huxhold was one of two teachers in Ohio to receive the award, and one of 37 teachers to receive the award across the country.
