Join authors Joe and Jack Heffron as they discusses their new book, "Local Boys: Hometown Players for the Cincinnati Reds". The book provides an unprecedented history of every player from Greater Cincinnati who has ever taken the field for the Reds. Spanning the Reds 150-year history, the book sources historical literature as well as original interviews with Reds alumni to profile 105 sons of Cincinnati who achieved their greatest aspiration.
Children will learn what they can do to keep their eyes healthy and safe as they explore their eyes and the precious gift of sight. "Eye-popping" demonstrations and hands-on activities will provide the student deeper insight into the world of vision and how to play and work safely.
American Red Cross and The Walt Disney Company are partnering in Disaster Preparedness. The curriculum follows three essential teaching steps: Learn, Practice and Share. Students learn how to prepare for emergencies, enhance coping skills, practice what they have learned and share their knowledge with friends and family. Children will have the opportunity to decorate and personalize their pillowcases. Pillowcases will be provided.
