The evening will conclude with a patriotic medley performed with fireworks!
I am a Deputy Chief with the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department. I wanted to let you about a great community and family oriented event that I thought your readers may be interested attending. On Saturday August, 23 from 6 PM to 10 PM, Symmes Township is hosting a concert in the park featuring two of the top live bands in the area.
From 6 PM to 8 PM, the stage will come alive with music from the Big Trouble Blues Band. This band has been making the rounds covering a variety of top blues music along with some of their own original scores.
Next on the stage is the Tom Daugherty Orchestra. This orchestra is an incredibly popular "Big Band" type orchestra. They will perform their "Glenn Miller Tribute Show" which showcases music from the 30's and 40's.
The event is free and will have some fun activities for children as well as a variety of food and beverages for the adults. Proceeds from concession sales will benefit Tri-State Honor Flight, an organization that is committed to taking WWII and Korean War veterans to see their memorials, free of charge, in Washington, DC. The evening will conclude with a patriotic medley performed with fireworks!
The event is being held at the Home of the Brave Park located at 11605 Lebanon Road in Symmes Township on 8/23 from 6PM to 10PM. Parking and admission is free.
If possible, can you please distribute in any weekly correspondence to your readers.
