Loveland-Earth-Day-FINAL-DONE

Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland Sustainability Council invites everyone to join them in Downtown Loveland on Earth Day, April 22, between 3 PM and 7 PM for three events.

ONE: Interested in participating in a project that benefits the earth and our community? You can volunteer to help clean up the trail, riverfront or prep the gardens at Grailville. Just follow this link to sign up to help: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4facad2baafd0-lovelands. Be sure to download a release form: www.gogreenloveland@wix/sustainability

TWO: Is a rain barrel right for you? How do I compost? Where can I donate unused items? What businesses engage in sustainable practices?  Learn about sustainable practices at the Sustainability Expo at the Jackson Street Market between 4 PM and 6:30 PM. This is a family friendly, free event. The Jackson Street Market is in Historic Downtown across the street on West Loveland Avenue from Julian’s Deli.

THREE: Julian’s Deli is hosting a green happy hour with “green” trivia from 5 PM to 7 PM. Stop by and test your knowledge.
