Heroin and prescription drug abuse is rising in Clermont County, and is affecting the health and well-being of our residents, their families and our community. “It is putting additional stress on our social safety net, law enforcement and the courts. Families are being destroyed by this scourge,” said Dr. Brian Treon, Clermont County’s coroner, who recently released his 2014 report showing a surge in accidental deaths attributed to the increased use of heroin in Clerlmont County.
