The Delta Dental Foundation is currently accepting applications from community-based nonprofit organizations working to improve oral health in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

A total of $150,000 will be awarded in grants of up to $5,000 each for programs and projects that aim to: increase access to dental care for at-risk populations, reduce consumption of sugary foods and beverages; educate about and provide oral health care to pregnant women and their babies; and improve children’s oral health, especially in school-based settings.

“At the Delta Dental Foundation, we are committed to doing our part to build healthy, smart, vibrant communities across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio,” said Teri Battaglieri, executive director, Delta Dental Foundation. “This grant program is designed to support smaller community-based projects and programs focused on oral health which is a key part of good overall health.”

Applications will be accepted through February 1. For applications, grant guidelines and more details, visit theMichigan application, the Ohio application or theIndiana application.
