Loveland, Ohio – The Loveland City School District was selectied to host a “Google for Education Roadshow” Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Loveland Intermediate School/Loveland Middle School Media Center. Google experts traveled from their California headquarters to spotlight innovative work in the field of education Loveland is implementing district wide.

“Our Google Roadshow event provided an amazing opportunity for Loveland administration, faculty and students to collaborate with other area school districts, and to share our recent technology initiatives and successes,” said David Knapp, Loveland director of instructional technology. “Through this event we were also provided the unique privilege to work and partner directly with the experts at Google.”

Representatives from Winton Woods, Miami Trace, Milford, Batavia, Bethel-Tate and Hamilton County Educational Services Center joined the day long discussion. Loveland’s new Innovative Instructional Coaches, teacher and student representatives shared their experiences implementing and using Google Apps for Education, Google devices (Chromebooks and Android tablets), and the cutting-edge learning opportunities Tiger teachers and students are creating in the classroom.

“This is an exciting time of innovation within our classrooms,” said Knapp. “It was a privilege to host this elite event, and share the work of the team. Thanks to everyone who made it possible.”
