L.I.F.E. Pantry helps 250 families with holiday baskets

by Terri Carter,

The Holiday Spirit was in the air on November 18th as 250 pantry families received their holiday baskets provided by L.I.F.E. Food Pantry. Each family was given a box filled to bursting with everything they would need for both their Thanksgiving and their Christmas/Hanukkah meals. Families also received a generous gift card from Ron’s Meat Market. In addition to the holiday food staples there was a tasting table for new recipe ideas with ingredient bags available for clients choosing to be a bit more adventurous with their holiday menu.

A BIG “Thank You!” to Tony’s Restaurant for the potatoes and delicious pies, Loveland School’s Pass It On Program, Loveland School volunteers (students, teachers and parents), the Loveland community at large for their support, CHCA (Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy) for basket donations, Prince Of Peace Youth Group and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for the use of their facilities. Without your amazing support days like this would be impossible.

The L.I.F.E. Pantry, 101 S. Lebanon Rd (located in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, at the corner of Lebanon Rd and W Loveland Ave), offers services to residents within the Loveland City School District or members of our supporting churches.

We have a tremendous group of volunteers and are always looking for new members of the L.I.F.E. volunteer team. Would you like to get involved or know more about our many programs? If so please contact us by phone: 513-583-8222, by email:, or visit our website:  or Facebook page:
