On Friday, April 17, Loveland Early Childhood Center (LECC) kindergarten students celebrated a day of colorful learning with ROY G BIV – typically known as Mr. Steve Federman, Loveland Intermediate School science teacher

“Mr. Federman’s LECC science stage name actually stands for the color order of the rainbow,” explained LECC Principal Kyle Bush. “And, it is a fitting description for the learning that happens with this event. The day is bursting with vibrant activities centered on the rainbow and color.

LECC teachers work with students on mixing the primary colors to make all the colors of the rainbow. Students were allowed to experiment with bubbles, playdough and other materials mixing the three primary colors to make all the colors in the rainbow

“As always, we appreciate the effort Mr. Federman puts forth toward this terrific presentation,” said Bush. “I also want to offer a big thank you to our wonderful PTA for sponsoring this event, and all our volunteers for an exciting day!”
