Ali Syed to explore medical field through Greater Cincinnati Health Council school medical program

AliSyedLoveland, Ohio – Loveland High School Junior Ali Syed has been seected for the TAP MD high school medical program. TAP MD is sponsored by the Greater Cincinnati Health Council and is a program for high school students to explore careers. Syed was selected to join the program designed to help exceptionally talented high school students “tap” into their potential to fulfill careers in medicine.

As part of the TAP MD annual program, Syed will attend monthly observation events with physicians in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. To enter this career exploring program, students must be strong academically (29 ACT and/or 1300 SAT), motivated, mature, dependable and have a positive attitude. The program has an ultimate goal that more than 50 percent of participating students will pursue a career in medicine at the completion of the program.
