Loveland, Ohio – If you have broken or un-needed Christmas lights, the Loveland Sustainability Council has three solutions for you:

  1. Drop off your used light strands at the UPS Store at 10663 Loveland Madeira Road.  There will be a bin available through January 10.
  2. Bring your broken light strands to Christmas in Loveland. The Sustainability Council will have a bin in downtown Loveland during the event. The bin will be at the Loveland Farmers’ market booth (at Jackson Street Market which runs along the bike trail).
  3. Bring your broken light strands to Hamilton County Park visitor centers at the following locations: Glenwood Gardens, Farbach Werner Nature Preserve, Winton Woods, Sharon Woods, Woodland Mound and Miami Whitewater Forest. They will recycle the lights and divert them from the landfill. Last year they collected 1,000 strands of lights.

The Cincinnati Zoo and Cohen are making it easy for you to recycle your old holiday lights responsibly. Just drop off your lights at any Cohen locationor at the Zoo during PNC Festival of Lights.
