After months of suffering from major headaches, weakness and numbness on his right side, memory loss, and confusion, on June 26th, Ray was taken to the emergency room where the doctors discovered a 4.5 X 2 cm tumor on his left front lobe. After the tumor was biopsied, Ray was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma. Ray is a couple of weeks into treatment and is doing great! He treatment plan consists of radiation 5 days per week for 6 weeks in conjunction with a chemo pill 7 days for 6 weeks.

“We have kept our eyes focused on God the whole time. Afterall, it is beyond our control; we know God is in control and have chosen to trust in Him. Then came pathology result day, July 18…stage IV cancer…not what we hoped for but still staying focused on God…He is still in control. We choose to be positive and focused on Ray’s healing rather than think about the what if’s. God is good and we choose to put our trust and hope in Him.”                       ~ Tina Wene, Ray’s wife
